Professional Golf coaching

On offer is a range of NZPGA professionals to help you with your game in what is a fun environment to learn the great game.  North Shore Golf Clubs' teaching facility's are some of the best on course facilities in the country. An indoor coaching facility means protection from the elements whilst using the 220 metre driving range.  The club has two large putting greens and two chipping greens to hone the short game skills.  Lessons are available for all, there is no requirement to be a member to come to North Shore Golf Club.

Scott Pickett - Head Professional, North Shore Golf Club and owner of Prodrive Golf North Shore

Scott has been a qualified PGA professional since 2004 and has achieved success with players of all abilities.  His rapport with clients and willingness to help people has seen him establish a large number of regular clients.

Stephen Cowan - Founder of CompleteGolf and Head Teaching Professional

Stephen has ten years coaching experience and has spent the last five years working for the Professional Golfers Association of New Zealand as Education Manager.

As a coach Stephen aims to provide the best learning environment using an athlete centred coaching model which helps to encourage each individual to achieve the best possible results. Stephen also believes in the overall holistic development of the athlete and its importance in determining long term success.

It is Stephen's goal to provide each individual with tools that enable their physical, technical, psychological and tactical skills to grow together. This ensures the development of well prepared and well rounded athletes.

Jenna Hunter - Assistant Professional North Shore Golf Club

Having graduated from the PGA Academy in December 2011 Jenna has three years coaching experience. Before taking on a traineeship, Jenna played amateur golf at a national level and represented the North Harbour women's team on several occasions.

As a coach Jenna considers the individual's learning preferences, goals and physical attributes and designs a swing that allows them to reach their full potential. Jenna also believes there is more to golf than "the perfect swing".
